In late 2019, entrepreneur and family lawyer Kim Beumer asked me to create an interior design for her brand new office in an old stately home located in Middelharnis. During this project, my architectural knowledge was put to the test as the only thing standing of the location was the front facade.
I rearranged all the spaces by hand and designed the office bit by bit. After the technical realisation, I moved on to designing the look and feel of the spaces.
During this phase, I delved into the life of lawyer Kim and looked for traits of hers that I could incorporate into the design. This results into a memorable boutique office where her team is working on the settlement of divorces and inheritance cases. The personal attention and warmth needed to be reflected alongside the glamour.
